This 1992 CD marked the first
time the 1966 USA LPs Music from the TV Series Secret
Agent (RCA Victor, LSP-3630 / LPM-3630) and Music
from the TV Series The Saint (RCA Victor, LSP-3631 /
LPM-3631) received a British release of any kind.

Prior to the 1966 releases, a
selection of the music they comprised had previously been
issued in the United States by RCA Victor in 1965 as
Secret Agent Meets The Saint (LSP-3467 / LPM-3467) on
vinyl LP, with each series afforded one side of the disc.

This compilation was also
released in 2002 on CD in the USA (Collectables / BMG,
COL-CD-2803), with the order swapped so that The Saint
tracks came ahead of Danger Man (Secret Agent)
ones.

A more or less simultaneous
2002 Spanish CD release - Secret Agent Meets The Saint
(BMG, 74321938502) - oddly included only the twelve tracks
released in 1965.

There is some confusion re.
the titling of track 15. On CD versions which include it,
the title is given as 'Chaise-Lounge' (presumably connecting
it with loungecore music), whereas on the original vinyl
versions it is shown as 'Chaise-Longue'. We have opted for
the original spelling.

This collection included a
listening notes booklet by Andrew Pixley.

Some of the original audio
tapes for Shinda Shima were found to have been
damaged, resulting in several tracks where the resulting
recording is notably inferior to the rest of the Danger
Man original soundtrack. No restoration work was carried
out on these tracks, which were presented 'as is' for
reference only.
