Locations are presented in the order they first appeared in the episodes, with all subsequent revisits to that place grouped together for the sake of tidiness. Timings given are based on the Blu-ray editions and all episode images are sourced from these discs. Please note that Blu-ray grabs have been regraded to highlight details of the filming locations and are not representative of the actual look of the Blu-rays, which are graded appropriately.

Spotter's Note: Most of the buildings seen in the THEN image have been demolished, with most coming down in 2012 or thereabouts. To the extreme left, the Barbican complex still stands, and the other survivor is less obvious. The skyscraper seen in My Late Lamented Friend and Partner was Britannic House, designed by F. Milton Cashmore and H. N. W. Grosvenor and built in 1967 as the 35-storey, 122 metres (400 ft) high headquarters of British Petroleum (now BP). At the time of its construction it was the first building in the City of London to exceed the height of St. Paul's Cathedral (111m / 364 ft). BP moved out in 1991 at which point it was renamed Britannic Tower. The building was refurbished in 2000 and re-opened as Citypoint. It remains standing today.
