upon the illuminated sign.
Since Filming: In
2004, the Grade II listed Edwardian Palace Theatre was
refurbished and a new block (also forming of the theatre
complex) was built directly to its left. The sign was removed
some years before the refurbishment as shown in the 2003
photograph.

Theatre to a packed audience.
Since Filming: The
Palace Theatre is a Grade II listed building. Although there
have been some internal alterations dating back to 2004, the
areas in which Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased)
filmed - the stage and auditorium - are largely unchanged.
However, there is no longer a central aisle in the seating area.
