Locations are presented in the order
they first appeared in the episodes, with all subsequent revisits to
that place grouped together for the sake of tidiness. Timings given are based on the Blu-ray editions and all episode images are sourced from these discs. Please note that Blu-ray grabs have been
regraded to highlight details of the filming locations
and are not representative of the actual look of the Blu-rays, which
are graded appropriately.

Spotter's Note: The wall
that Jansen climbs over is clearly a studio-made flat as the
prison wall wobbles and flexes when he kicks it. Also, what pavement is
ever built that runs out at a wall??? :)

DYOTT STREET
BLOOMSBURY

Identified by:
Geoff Dodd, Anthony McKay
and Vince Cox, January 2020 |
(08:57) Concealed in the shadows across the road, Jansen
watches Jean leave the car.
(09:05) Close up of Jansen,
watching.
Spotter's Note: Geoff
Dodd and Anthony McKay spotted a sign just above the basement window. It
reads:
RESTALL, BROWN
& CLENNELL
G... ...NIR
Restall, Brown and Clennell Ltd was a company which specialised in
producing
furniture in a vintage style. It had registered addresses at 2-4
Bucknall Street WC2 and in Dyott Street WC1 and New Oxford
Street WC2.
The Bucknall Street office building still stands but does not
match what was seen in Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased).
New
Oxford Street is a main thoroughfare and the Vendetta for a
Dead Man location is plainly on a side street.
Therefore, we have plumped for Dyott Street, which has been
heavily redeveloped, as the Bloomsbury Baptist Church has
similar street level basement windows (spotted by Vince Cox),
suggesting the location was close by on the street but has since
been demolished. |

Spotter's Note: At low tide, there is a concrete causeway
permitting public access to the lighthouse - but watch the
tides! Jersey has the third largest tidal range in the world! At
low tide, the island nearly doubles in size and, on the biggest
tides of the year, the tidal range is up to an astonishing
twelve metres.
Additionally, our 'Low Tide' and 'High Tide' photographs
are taken close to the original angle, but not exactly as per
the 1960s camera position. This is because access to that part
of the beach - to the right of our camera position - is a little
precarious...
