Notes |
-
The first of three releases
marking the debut of many ITC series on Blu-ray. The three
volumes were issued simultaneously as Network website
exclusives. General retailer releases of all three titles
followed on 19th September 2011.
-
The
Randall and Hopkirk episode included is the only entry
in that series to
have been released in High Definition in the United Kingdom with the first title sequence made for
the series. Subsequent full series HD releases substituted the
'graveyard' sequence in all instances. In 2024, ViaVision in
Australia issued the full series on Blu-ray, with the viewer
able to choose which title sequence to watch for all
episodes. This was achieved through branching and the
choices were: first title sequence (orange), second
(graveyard) and US My Partner the Ghost titles.

Notes |
-
Limited to just 2,500 copies, this lavish
collector's item married the original documentary,
Filmed in Supermarionation, with a selection of key
episodes from the Gerry Anderson archive, all
painstakingly restored in High Definition for the first
time from the original film elements. An expanded and
redesigned hardcover edition of Stephen La Rivieres
Filmed in Supermarionation book was also included as
well an exclusive one-off TV21 comic designed and
edited by Martin Cater, and a wallet of postcards
featuring newly created artwork based on the films
graphics, all presented in a beautifully crafted box.
-
The Filmed in Supermarionation
documentary received its UK premiere on 30 September 2014
as the curtain raiser to the BFI's Days of Fear and
Wonder science fiction season.
-
The TV21 comic included in this
edition was numbered 243. The original TV21's run ended on
25 September 1971 with issue 242.
-
Standalone editions of the book and Blu-rays
were also issued. Additionally, a DVD version of the
documentary was published, though for obvious reasons the
other discs highlighting the HD restorations did not
follow it onto the DVD format.
