Tracklisting

Side A:
A1. A Man in a Suitcase
(from the TV series A Man in a Suitcase) (sic)

Side B:
B1. Andorra

Notes

  • A record version by Ron Grainer of his theme to Man in a Suitcase.

  • The B-side track Andorra was another Ron Grainer composition that was not connected to Man in a Suitcase.

Notes

  • The A-side of this single was erroneously labelled as "A Man in a Suitcase", hailing from the TV series of the same name.

  • Erle Music was Ron Grainer's own company, its name being taken from Grainer's middle name.

  • The final two images presented above show the labels of the original acetate 7" disc that contained the themes for Man in a Suitcase and The Prisoner. These two tracks were ultimately both released as A-sides on separate singles.

Tracklisting

Side A:
A1. I Try to Make You Good

Side B:
B1. Man in a Suitcase (Vocal Version)

  • I Try to Make You Good and the newly created lyrics to Ron Grainer's Man in a Suitcase theme were composed by G. Henderson. The former is not connected to Man in a Suitcase.

Notes

  • Something of an ITC novelty, a vocal version of the Man in a Suitcase theme, recorded by Alexander Stone. The lyrics, written by G. Henderson, were created long after the series production had completed.

  • A month after this record was issued, Department S star Rosemary Nicols also had a single published on the Gemini label. Jaby / Once Upon a Time was released as GMS 013 on 26 June 1970, produced by Harry Roberts, who also co-wrote the B-side song with Frank Kinsella. The A-side Jaby was composed by Don Black and Denis King.
