This fortnightly partwork
from Eaglemoss was available to buy from high street
newsagents and also via mail order subscription from
www.the-saint-dvds.com (now defunct). The first issue
was priced at £2.99, with each subsequent issue costing
£7.99.
-
Each issue comprised a DVD
containing two episodes and a 12-page magazine containing
information about the episodes featured, along with more
general features about The Saint.
-
Potential customers were
enticed to subscribe via a series of free gifts: a magazine binder
and free Part 3 with the first
delivery, replica prints of The Fiction Makers and
Vendetta for the Saint posters with the second
delivery, a DVD storage case with the third, and a
Saint mug with the fourth. Subscribers would
ordinarily receive one mailing per month which contained
two issues.

The DVD spines of the first
three issues were unnumbered.

All discs were re-authored
especially for this partwork collection with the exception
of the first DVD, which was a direct port of the earlier
Carlton retail version - it being the only Saint
DVD disc pre-existing that contained two episodes rather
than four or five. This meant that Issue 1's DVD menu was
different from all subsequent Eaglemoss volumes.
Additionally, the first disc was the only one to feature
English subtitles.

transition from the monochrome series to the later colour
episodes, containing the final black-and-white episode,
The Old Treasure Story, and the first colour episode,
