Notes

  • Recorded on Wednesday 4th April 1979 at the Royal Hibernian Hotel in Dublin, this interview is one of a very small number that Patrick McGoohan gave in which he talked at length about The Prisoner.

  • At the time of the interview, McGoohan was in Ireland to film Michael Dryhurst's The Hard Way (1980).

  • This initial audio cassette version was edited in two places and when Roger Goodman reissued the interview on CD in 2oo2 the excised material was reinstated.

  • The edited version for cassette was compiled by Patrick McGoohan and Roger Goodman.
