Recorded on Wednesday 4th April 1979
at the Royal Hibernian Hotel in Dublin, this
interview is one of a very small number that Patrick
McGoohan gave in which he talked at length about
The Prisoner.
-
At the time of the interview,
McGoohan was in Ireland to film Michael Dryhurst's The Hard Way (1980).
-
This initial audio cassette version
was edited in two places and when Roger Goodman
reissued the interview on CD in 2oo2 the excised
material was reinstated.

The edited version for cassette was
compiled by Patrick McGoohan and Roger Goodman.
